Adeline Rosenstein is a director, actress and author, her work follows a politically engaged and introspective approach. Each of her projects is preceded by a long period of investigative work mixing theoretical corpus (historical, philosophical, anthropological) and field research which mainly results in a series of interviews carried out by very diverse and often unexpected interlocutors. Her next creation is interested in the relationship between theatre and trial, starting out from specific situations of betrayal amongst members of a same party, a same struggle, a same political family. Who judges who? Who establishes the criteria of truth and how can we make sure two ‘interpretations’ of a same scene that we have tended to only record in one way in History are heard? The collective reflection put forward by the artist will be set in motion by a preliminary stage performance.
